On Monday 27th March our beautiful baby Freya Sidney Keeton was born into the world, weighing 8lb 4oz at 15:37. She was so perfect and I felt so blessed to finally be Auntie Lizzy❤️

Unfortunately my amazing cousin Rachel had complications during the birth and Freya became asphyxiated and extremely unwell. She was transferred to the womens hospital where she underwent tests and all of the doctors, consultants, midwives and nurses did everything they could to save her but unfortunately she was too precious for this awful world.

Freya passed away peacefully in the arms of her amazing parents Rachel and Jack on on 3rd April at just one week old.

Our whole family are absolutely devastated but we are all in awe of the strength and courage Rachel and Jack have shown. Freya’s tiny footprints are embedded on our hearts forever and we will never forget how beautiful she was.

Throughout Freya’s time in hospital and after she passed away, Rachel and Jack have been supported by Claire house. As a thank you, we as a family have decided to climb Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, one every month starting from 22nd July (dates tbc), in memory of Freya and to raise money for Claire House so they can continue to support other families just like ours.
