Three peak challenge for the Anthony Nolan charity

In April 2024, our mum was diagnosed with acute leukaemia. Since then, she has undergone nine months of continuous chemotherapy, which will be followed by a bone marrow stem cell transplant in early 2025.

The Anthony Nolan charity has been invaluable, finding a perfect donor match for our mum and facilitating a transplant that we hope will save her life. We are incredibly grateful to the medical staff at Kings College Hospital for their exceptional care, and we feel deeply indebted to them.

As a family, we want to support our mum on this journey, so we have decided to take on the Three Peaks Challenge in June 2025. Our goal is to raise funds for the Anthony Nolan charity and contribute to their incredible work in saving the lives of people battling blood cancers.

Any donations to this wonderful charity would be greatly appreciated.

The Three Peaks Challenge begins at Fort William, where we will tackle our first and highest peak, Ben Nevis. We will then travel to the Lake District to climb Scafell Pike by night. Our final challenge will take place in Snowdonia National Park, where we’ll summit Snowdon. We aim to complete the trek in 15 hours or less, covering approximately 22 miles and climbing a total of 9,500 feet.

We are immensely grateful for the support we’ve already received from family, friends, and everyone who cares about our mum. As she continues her journey up the ‘cancer mountain’, we are confident that, together, we will reach the summit.
