As many of us know, life can change in an instant. A local mother of two, whose children attend our neighborhood elementary school, is facing eviction on November 5th due to circumstances outside of her control. A recent change in family dynamics means she suddenly lost nearly half her household income.

She is employed and actively seeking additional work, but right now, she simply cannot make ends meet on her own. Rent for one month is $1,440, and she’s doing her best to provide stability for her two children as we head into the cold Colorado winter.

The children have what they need for winter, but their mom could use some warm clothing of her own.

We’re setting a goal for $4,500 to cover 3 months rent and some extra cushion for her to get herself some warm winter clothes.

1 months rent is $1,440 and 3 months would be $4,320.
