Three Lads. One Challenge. One Club Worth Backing. ⚽️
This November, three 21-year-olds — Evren, Bobby and Kammy — will take on Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, standing at 4,167m.
What began as a personal challenge — a test of strength, focus and endurance — has grown into something much more meaningful. They’ve chosen to use this climb to raise funds for Helix Thistle Football Club, a brand-new grassroots club in Falkirk that’s giving kids the chance to play football in a safe, supportive and inspiring environment.
For Evren,His younger brother plays for the Helix Thistle 2011s, and he’s seen first-hand how much it means to him. It’s more than just football — it’s structure, discipline, fitness, and being part of a team with great coaches who care.
❤️ Why this club matters
Helix Thistle was founded earlier this year, built completely from scratch by parents and committee members determined to give young players the chance to play the sport they love. In just a short space of time, they’ve worked tirelessly — securing pitches, organising sponsorships, and getting everything in place so the kids could pull on their kits and get on the pitch.
It’s proof of how much passion and commitment sits behind the badge. And that’s exactly why Evren, Bobby and Kammy want to help.
What your donation will do
Every penny raised will go directly to the kids — helping the club to:
• Provide winter training kit so they can keep going through the winter
• Support the teams to enter home and away tournaments
• Buy equipment and essentials so every child has the same opportunity ⚽️
A little about the climbers ⬇️
Evren
Passionate about boxing and now weightlifting, Evren’s focus and discipline are driving him towards potential competitions in the near future.
Bobby
Last year, Bobby spent 3 months in Thailand at the world-renowned Tiger Muay Thai training camp. He went not to become a fighter, but to embrace the discipline, structure and fitness — lessons he still carries today.
Kammy
A dedicated martial artist, Kammy has competed locally and brings the same drive and determination to every challenge he takes on.
Football also runs deep for them — Bobby and Evren are cousins who grew up playing the game together from the age of six at Keighley Shamrocks. They know exactly how powerful grassroots football can be, and they want Helix Thistle kids to have that same chance.
Join them
By backing this climb, you’re backing Helix Thistle FC and helping create opportunities for kids in Falkirk. No donation is too small — every bit of support makes a huge difference.
Thank you for standing behind the lads and behind the club.
