As you may or may not know, I lost my dad to Motor Neuron Disease after a 4 year battle in August 2013. Since then I have been actively looking for ways to make a difference to people living with MND and their families.
My latest challenge is to trek the 3 Yorkshire peaks, Pen-y-Ghent, Whenside & Ingleborough. I've somehow managed to convince two of my closest friends Tash and Amber to accompany me (yes - we know we don't look the trekking type). We will be taking on this challenge on 7th August 2021 (Covid allowing).
Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for what undoubtedly a miraculous yet sadly underfunded charity. Unfortunately Motor Neurone Disease is fatal in every single case. We are trying to change that.
Any and all donations will be so greatly appreciated by the three of us! We do also promise to keep you updated with our training progress as well as the challenge itself :)
Thank you so much,
Mad, Tash & Amber x
