This Ramadan, Threads of Peace, in collaboration with QuillersSWANA, is committed to bringing warmth and sustenance to the displaced and needy families in Tripoli and Beqaa through our community-led Iftar initiatives.

Our Goal: Every $20 donated provides a nourishing Iftar meal to a family struggling to find stability and peace in these turbulent times. Your contributions will directly support local communities in Tripoli and Beqaa, where our teams are on the ground preparing and distributing meals.

What We Will Do:

1. Community-Led Iftar Preparations: In both Tripoli and Beqaa, our community-led initiatives and community centers transform into hubs of compassion where volunteers and local residents come together to cook and distribute Iftar meals.

2. Direct Aid to Families: Your donations fund the purchase of ingredients and supplies needed to prepare these meals, ensuring that each family receives a healthy and filling Iftar every day of Ramadan.

Who We Are: Threads of Peace (known as House of Peace)

Threads of Peace, also known as House of Peace, was formed in 2012 as a local initiative, and officially registered in 2019. We began as a small group of young people committed to building a better future for Lebanon. Despite our growth, our mission has always remained the same: to promote peace, foster social stability, and provide humanitarian assistance to Lebanon’s most vulnerable communities.

For the past ten years, we have worked across all of Lebanon, specializing in emergency response, peacebuilding, and social cohesion. Our team is made up of diverse individuals from different backgrounds, all united by our core values of non-violence, diversity, and accountability. We have extensive experience

in supporting displaced populations, advocating for conflict sensitivity, and promoting inclusive, equitable relief efforts.

QuillersSWANA is a writing organization for writers from South West Asia and North Africa. Our goal is to support SWANA writers through mentorship and pitch events and support Threads of Peace with their Stand with Us to Aid initiative.
