A cause we care about needs help

Please help us raise money for some absolutely sweet doggos that are drastically in need of medical attention and surgery. They have unfortunately been neglected and mistreated by their previous owner but now they are in the safe hands of the Central Coast Animal Care Facility but they need your help to make these babies happy and healthy again. Please take a look at the pictures and the details below. Every dollar helps.

Thank You,
Rhyss

**** Full Story from CC Animal Care Facility***Dee’s Diary (Wednesday 14/10/20)

Recently Jen came and asked me if we could take two surrenders on. She said Dee they are really skinny, I didn’t even ask what breed I said get them in. Turns out they are two French bulldogs. As soon as they came in, I could tell one was seriously ill and I said to Jen, get her to a vet now. Something about this person and his story didn’t add up but my first priority was to get these dogs sorted out ASAP especially little Frankie.

Jen rang Dr Emetia but they didn’t have a vet at the clinic right there at that moment so we contacted Somersby Vet Hospital who immediately got little Frankie in.

The vets had to put her into an oxygen tank, they also determined she had double ear infections, chest infection and double cherry eyes. She also needs brachycephalic surgery sooner than later.
This girl is in trouble and I guess I’m about to be threatened once again but I don’t give a damn as I will fight for this dog. When I scanned Frankie I found she was still in the name of the breeder and their phone number had since been disconnected. So I set off to do my usual investigating and have found out that:

* Frankie was adopted from the breeder at 8 weeks of age for $3000 to someone in Newcastle. No change of ownership done as he was just starting out as a breeder.
* They in turn rehomed Frankie after their circumstances changed and she was put onto gumtree approx a year ago. From there she went to the Central Coast. Again no paperwork was done into anyone’s name.
* From there she was rehomed again and surrendered to us.

When she came in I thought she’s going to die right here right now but Frankie (who the person could not even tell us her name at first) is a fighter.

Her health has deteriorated and no one has given her the vital operation she needs and therefore her life has revolved around constant vomiting. Her ears are crusted up with ear infections and we have since found out that the last time she saw a vet approx 5 months ago they recommended medication for her ears and advice that she needed a camera to be inserted to see what was going on. Nothing was done and as such this poor little girl has gone downhill and it’s only now that I have

1. Tracked and found the breeder
2. Tracked and found the 2nd owner
3. Tracked and found the 3rd owner
4. Listened to the bs from the 4th owner

Do I know what life she has had. This girl needs vital help and we need to raise thousands of dollars to help not only Frankie but the other French bulldog Millie from the same house also surrendered to us.

I wish I could tell you more but as I am taking this matter further I cannot reveal any further details incase we jeopardise the case. I will say though, we have been contacted to ask for the dogs back. This will not be happening!

Frankie is more urgent than Millie, she’s not doing well and the vets need to operate which I have given the go ahead and they have her booked in tomorrow with poor Toto as well. Toto is a beautiful border collie that broke her leg and toes. Her owner didn’t listen to the vets advice to confine her until her leg heals and as a result her leg healed wrong and instead of fixing the problem they opted to have her euthanised instead. Tomorrow Dr Emetia will perform life saving procedure on Frankie and in regards to Toto, she will re-break Totos leg and plate it.

Can you help these girls get what they need. We have been quoted $5000 each Frenchie plus around $1500 for Toto but we have set a goal of $5500.00.

We have attached our account details for our pledge account or alternatively we can take a credit card over the phone and we can transfer it to the pledge account. All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and we would be more than happy to issue a tax deductible receipt.

If you can spare even a small amount to help get these poor furkids get the treatments they need, treatments that nearly cost them their lives we would be most appreciative.

Our bank details for pledges are as follows:
BSB: 646000
ACC: 100083072
Name: CCACF Pledge Account

Fighting for those who cannot speak and for those who deserve better.

As always stay safe, be kind and continue to be your awesome selves.

Much love to you all
