Rebuild flood destroyed homes in Greece

Hi, my name is Vaggos, and I am from Larissa, the major city that got damaged by storm Daniel.

Storm Daniel was one of the most disastrous and deadliest storms that has ever been seen in Greece! The storm hit the region of Thessaly almost all across, starting from the westernmost areas in Karditsa and Trikala municipalities completely wiping out entire villages, passing by the capital and largest city of the region, Larissa, ending all the way east to the sea. The storm also destroyed other areas in the region around Volos and even as far as the island of Skiathos.

I happen to know some engineers who belong to the main engineering society of Thessaly based in Larissa, and there is a talk about how they could also contribute by coming up with solutions for new housing for those whose house was taken by the storm.

The money that will be collected by this fundraiser will be used to buy resources and help build the new houses.
