A few years ago I read a book by Amanda Palmer, 'The Art of Asking'. An incredibly empowering and inspirational read from an artist largely funded by her fans and supporters. The key message of the book is asking for what you need, when you need it, and not being afraid to do so. Hence this appeal.

So here we are with 11k+ YouTube subscribers and a real chance to take our channel to the next level. To reach and help more people on their journey into veganism and gardening, just as we already have with 1000's of people.

We've never hidden the fact that it is our hope to one day be full time YouTubers, and that hasn't changed. Right now, even with our Patrons and channel members on YT, we are just about getting by. Every month ends with us dipping into our overdraft, so the prospeccts of us getting any new equipment (camera, drone + +) to push our channel further is nigh on impossible, and if something broke we'd be in a real mess. As many of you will know, Jason was downgraded in pay scale recently taking another significant chunk of income away from us, and The Vegan Queens are still a long way from getting back to regular bookings and income again. A really decent drone costs around £750 to £1,000, and that's exactly the same when it comes to cameras. Just one of them would cost us over half of our monthly income. Impossible from this vantage point.

So, with sayings in mind like 'You only live once', and 'If you don't ask you don't get', I (Paul) am starting this appeal.

Our channel means the world to us, sharing our lives and all the many diverse vlogs we put out has become a core part of who we are and all we want to do is do it better. It would mean the absolute world to us, and the knock on effect would be our ability to reach many more people at the start of their own journey with much better content.
