Thos and Breda's home

Hi, our names are Ger Conway and Niamh Clarges, and we are fundraising for our friends Thomas Nolan (Thos) and Breda Fox who’s home and belongings were destroyed by a fire last Sunday night, 17th August.

They were very lucky to survive unharmed due to the quick actions of their neighbour, Eoin Heavey.

Their thatched home was not insured.

Thos is known for this dedication to the rugby club community, he has been groundsman for 29 years and is always prepared to lend a helping hand, while Breda’s compassion firstly as a nurse and now as a Director of Nursing at Lourdesville Nursing Home, has helped enhanced the lives of many residents and their families for over 41 years.

All funds raised will go directly towards helping Thos and Breda replace essential belongings and rebuild a home.

Thomas and Breda would like to thank everybody who has offered support and well wishes, especially Ray Behan and his crew, who were there Sunday night and all day Monday.
