Thor's handicap van

Hello everybody, my name is Megan and I am running this fundraiser for a very dear friend of mine. His name is Thor and he is the toughest man I have ever met! He is the oldest of six children and at the age 19yr he was involved in a car accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury and several other health issues. He has went through MANY years of therapy to get to where he is at today and has worked very hard. Thor is the strongest man I know because even though he has to overcome so much he still lives life to the fullest. He loves to participate in Patricia Neal Rehab's sports like water skiing, scuba diving and golfing. Not only that but he also goes indoor rock climbing with Catalyst sports. Thor is also an active member in his church community and a Blount County day program called "The GATE." Thor also finds the motivation to work out two-three times a week. These activities are imperative to his well being and keep him from being confined to his house 24hrs a day.
This past January Thor was involved in another car accident and was left physically unharmed but his van was totaled. The payout from the insurance is not nearly enough to get him a van and lift. His ability to get to doctors' appointments, shopping, and daily activities are very  limited due to lack of transportation. Thor has made the choice to live life to the fullest regardless of the obstacles and it's our goal to help make those struggles as minimal as possible. I'm hoping we can all come together and help him so he can continue to have the independence he so desperately needs and deserves.
