Thor has been our constant for many years—our shadow, our guardian, our joy, and our heart. He isn’t just a dog. He is family. He is our faithful companion, best friend, and furry soulmate who has walked beside us through every chapter of our lives.

Recently, during what should have been a simple, joyful walk, Thor suddenly collapsed and experienced a seizure. It was terrifying and completely unexpected. After emergency evaluation, we learned that he is suffering from a collapsing trachea, and that his seizures are being triggered by respiratory distress. In other words, when he cannot breathe, his body shuts down.

The good news is this: his prognosis can be good. With proper veterinary intervention—including advanced diagnostics, possible surgical care, and ongoing respiratory support—Thor has a real chance to regain comfort, stability, and quality of life. Right now, Thor is on oxygen therapy and requires specialized home equipment to support his breathing and prevent further crises. We are providing him with around-the-clock care, combining traditional veterinary guidance with herbal medicine, supportive therapies, and the magickal and intentional practices that have always been part of how we care for those we love. We are doing everything in our power to keep him safe, calm, and breathing.

Like many families, we are navigating a period of financial transition. Despite our best efforts, the cost of the necessary veterinary care, equipment, and potential surgical intervention is more than we can manage alone—and time is not a luxury we have. We are asking for help not because we want to, but because Thor needs us to. Thor has given us many years of unconditional love, loyalty, and light. Now we are fighting—heart, hands, and spirit—to give him the chance to keep breathing, keep loving, and keep walking beside us.

Any funds left over will be donated to a local shelter to help with medical costs for other animals in need.
