Frog Box Live Streaming Equipment Fundraiser Thornaby Cricket Club
Hi all this is a fundraising campaign for Thornaby Cricket Club to obtain its very own Frog Box so all home games can be streamed online.
With our ever increasing fan base We've made it our goal to make a positive impact on people's lives through our great club and this amazing enabler of change would be the perfect opportunity to bring us in line with other cricket clubs in our fantastic league.
That’s why we want to raise funds for this equipment to be available, accessible, and inclusive to all of our members and fans. If your away on holiday or simply can not make a match day, you can watch our games from the comfort of your own home or your mobiles or electronic devices anywhere in the world .
In the New year players and members will be participating in the Three Peaks challenge to raise funds for this fantastic equipment.
National Three Peaks Challenge
The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
The three mountains are:
Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
A popular misconception is that the three mountains that form the challenge are the three tallest on the British mainland. Rather, they are the tallest mountains within each representative country: Scafell Pike is the tallest in England; Snowdon, the tallest in Wales and Ben Nevis the tallest in Scotland over one hundred peaks in Scotland are higher than Scafell Pike, and 56 higher than Snowdon.
please donate to this fantastic fundraising opportunity no matter how big or small and help us achieve our target.
