Thor has never had it easy when it comes to his health, but 2025 has been the most unfair and painful year of his life. At the end of March, Thor and Jordan were attacked by an unleashed dog as we were finishing up his walk. Thor was bit in the head, but was such a great protector that Jordan left without a scratch. On June 26, Thor had several accidents in the house and he was constantly vomiting. We found out that his liver enzymes were extremely high due to an unknown cause. He has been being treated since. On the evening of 8/3, an unleashed dog approached our fence and our two dogs were running up and down the fence trying to play. Thor’s leg was sliced open and his muscle was just barely missed. He is unable to do anything except sleep for the next two weeks as he has a drain in his leg and sutures. He will need at least three follow up appointments and consistent monitoring of his liver enzymes because they have not yet been back to normal. We have spent thousands of dollars on emergency visits, medication, X-rays, blood tests, and now surgery in the last few months to help our beloved Thor the best we can, but the struggle is far from over. Our family has a long road ahead of us as we continue to comfort Thor and his brother Ody. We are asking for any help to make sure we can take care of all of Thor’s upcoming visits. We are ashamed to have to ask for help, but we have continued to drain our savings and we want our baby Thor to have the best care possible. Any help is greatly appreciated❤️
