Thor and Lokis 20k to 20k

My name is Inspector Andy Robinson and I am a serving member of Merseyside police.

A bit of background on myself as I feel it adds a bit more to why I want to do this. Myself and my two huskies, Thor and Loki, have raised money each year for different charities. We complete a walk, asking people to donate what they can to help others in need. We have currently raised £19,000 for differing charities. Sadly last year I suffered a back injury and have had to have surgery meaning I am getting myself, finally, back to some kind of fitness.

However, sadly, last year we had to say goodbye to Thor as he developed cancer. I made a promise to him that I would get him to the £20,000 mark in his name and this year, I intend to do just that.

On the 14th November, I will complete the 20k walk in Thor’s name, keeping my promise to him.

Any donation, big or small, makes a huge difference to these animals so please, give what you can. There is some information below from the charity also.

Want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money to benefit The National Foundation for Retired Service Animals, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about at Foundation for Retired Service Animals: Supporting retired dogs and horses from the police, fire, prison and border force services by helping with medical and veterinary bills, which inevitably occur as they get older. When their careers end, the financial support they have enjoyed whilst working also comes to an end. Unfortunately, meaningful insurance is almost impossible to obtain due to their age and training so the NFRSA is there to help to ensure these wonderful animals can stay where they belong.

From me, Loki and, our number one supporter, Thor, thank you so much in advance
