Thomas races Europe

Hi! My name is Thomas Adamson; my dream is to be a professional cyclist.  Cycling has changed my life. It has given me purpose, helped me to clarify my ultimate school and career goals, opened up business opportunities, and has improved every aspect of my life. 2016 will be my 4th year as a cyclist, and my 3rd year of racing. I am currently racing for TRU Cycling as a Category 2 cyclist. I'll hopefully be moving on to Cat.1 soon!

I have been given a wonderful opportunity; I have been invited to train and race in Europe this summer, 2016. 

Racing in Europe is every American cyclists dream. Not only is it important for a cyclists  development, but Europe is the ultimate proving ground where one can compete with arguably the best cyclists in the world. I am excited to say that I have been given the opportunity to go overseas by Williams Racing Academy. I will be training with the team in Italy, and spending several weeks racing in Belgium. Hopefully I'll get to see the sights as well.

This is a great opportunity for me; it is a dream come true. This will not be an inexpensive adventure, and this is where I hope YOU can help. I've taken all the necessary measures to ensure that I will be able to embark on this journey. I am paying for all my travel, lodging, race fees, and any incidentals. And, due to the fact that I eat an unusually large amount of food, I'll need help paying for that as well (HAHA).
