Thomas Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund

Hi, my name is Lisa Smith. I am the wife of Thomas Smith, who passed away from cancer in November of 2022. He taught school at the Lake Placid high school here in the Adirondacks of update NY for 31 years. He was a gifted teacher!! He made learning fun and every student that sat in his class absolutely loved him.

He was very passionate about helping his students figure out what they wanted to do with their future and encouraged many to think outside the box.

This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior, who is pursuing technical training or an online certificate that will allow them to pursue their passions..
