Dear friends,

As many of you know, our amazing friend Thomas “Slank” Slanker, has had a rough fall and winter. In October 2022, Thomas went to the hospital in pain only to find out he had life-threatening medical condition that needed immediate care. From that day he has spent 20 days in the hospital and underwent 2 major surgeries. Just when it seemed that Thomas might be turning the corner and be able to get back to a sense of normalcy, complications arose. Four days ago he was admitted to the hospital again and underwent a third surgery. He is anticipated to make a full recovery but not for quite a while. Currently he is still in the hospital awaiting for his condition to improve.

love Thomas also know that he is a self-employed freelancer. While that career is the perfect fit for our Thomas when he is healthy, it isn’t as great for someone who is as sick as him. Thomas hasn’t been able to work in over three months. The mounting medical bills and loss of income is never fun . Thomas is one of the most generous and community- minded person I know and now it’s time to support him as he has done for us so many times.
