Thomas Sheerin- Our Tommy's last big send off
Donation protected
UPDATE: We welcome you to say goodbye to Tommy on Friday 13th June at 1:45pm at Rawdon crematorium. And at Grove Hill social club afterwards to share memories.
We found out today (9th June) that Tommy sadly passed because he had been struggling with pneumonia and severe COPD, meaning he could not fight it off.
On Saturday 26th April our beloved Tommy was found dead very suddenly and unexpectedly and we need your help. Tommy has left a big hole in the family at the age of only 61. Our world is now a lot quieter and there is a lot of pain.
We need to ask the help of everyone who knew him to give him one big last send off as sadly because of the nature of his illness, there's no funds for a funeral. Please don't think a donation is too small, we appreciated anything that can be spared in these tough times. We do not want his children and family to suffer because of this. Due to the sudden and unexpected loss we don't yet have a funeral date but we will update everyone as soon as we do.
Tommy was a person who brought joy, laughter (true clown), and love to all who knew him and someone whose presence was felt deeply by all who crossed his path. Though Tommy faced great personal challenges, his spirit and humour was catching and people loved him and looked out for him. We know his friends are going to miss him.
Our hearts go out to those who are grieving this loss, to his children Danny, Natasha, Nathan and Sophia. And to his grandchildren who he adored, Skye and Jake, to them he is Grumpy Tom. To his only little brother Michael, more like twins than brothers, fiercely protective of each other, through thick and thin. And for Maisie, Eric, Evelyn, Jeannette, Sue and Eileen, who have all lost their little brother who they loved and adored with all their hearts. Our Uncle Tommy, you took us all to touch the ceilings on your tall and broad shoulders, it's time for us to carry you back and we can only hope you've found Molly and Tom, your mum and dad, give them a squeeze from all of us.
