Thomas Russo Medical Expenses

On December 29th, 2020 my dad Thomas Russo tested positive for Covid 19. This virus was hard on him as he already had the autoimmune disorder Ulcerative Colitis as well as Frontotemporal Dementia. On December 31st he began to run a high fever and was admitted into the local hospital. It was then they discovered the Covid 19 quickly gave him Double Pneumonia. He spent nearly 2 weeks fighting the virus at the hospital, but was still getting worse. On January 10th the doctor's told my dad and our family that the only option at this point is to move to a ventilator, my dad consented to trying the ventilator and the family agreed with his decision. The doctors continued to try every option available to bring him into a state of recovery, but sadly on January 17th, 2021 the Covid and Pneumonia had spread to a point of no return. At 6:09 PM my dad breathed his last breath and went to be with God in the next chapter of his journey. He transitioned peacefully and painlessly surrounded by a family who loved him so much. Almost 3 weeks of hospitalization was a necessary, but costly effort to try to bring my dad into a state of recovery. Any financial help with the costs of these efforts is greatly appreciated.
