The Tom Foster Excellence, Never Less Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Thomas (Tom) R. Foster, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, educator, coach, and community leader. Tom’s life was defined by his unwavering commitment to excellence, whether coaching, in the classroom, or within his community. This scholarship was established to support students who embody Tom’s dedication to hard work, leadership, and a passion for helping others achieve their potential.

Tom’s life was marked by a deep love for teaching and mentoring, having spent over three decades in the Gloversville School District. He was a founding coach of the F-M Flairs gymnastics team, where his leadership guided athletes to state, regional, and national recognition. His legacy in education and sports continues to inspire generations.

This scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate academic achievement, a strong work ethic in their craft, and a commitment to leadership. Just as Tom dedicated his life to encouraging others to strive for excellence, recipients of this scholarship are expected to pursue their goals with the same dedication and passion. By supporting the education of future leaders, the Tom Foster Excellence, Never Less Scholarship ensures that Tom’s spirit of mentorship and service will live on for years to come.

100% of donations will go towards the scholarship and the scholarship will be selected by his family.
