Thomas has passed out 2x at rehab... this caused a brain bleed. They are also looking at his heart to see if there are any electrical problems causing him to pass out.

He was admitted into the hospital because of a kidney injury. He's had 4 hospitalizations in 2 months. He started with congestive heart failure, then it went into pulmonary embolism (3 blood clots in his lungs). Then more congestive heart failure caused damage to his kidneys. Then it was a terrible bout of gout. The pain was more than he could bear. This also caused a kidney injury. Then Thomas passed out 2x, causing this current situation. Right now, according to Medicare, he only has 9 days to get stronger, not pass out, and to be able to walk independently and use stairs.

Thomas Stearns also had a disastrous water leak that at this time makes his kitchen and bedroom unlivable. His insurance is evaluating the problem, but we are unsure if they will pay. If they do pay, it will be $1500.00 or more.

The biggest problem is paying out of pocket for the days needed in rehab to get better.
