Death of Thomas' mother in Togo

My name is Rev. Sally Herlong and I am spearheading this attempt to assist a friend that I first met while in seminary.

Thomas Agbemenou is from Togo, a West African nation on the Gulf of Guinea. His mother's health had been declining and she passed away on 2/24/23. Thomas has siblings that live in Togo and provided support in ways that they were able, but Thomas has not been financially able to make the trip to see her. Their ask of Thomas was to help with the funeral and associated costs. He is not in a position to do so, but knowing the kind, tenderhearted, blessed man as I do, it was impossible for me to just let this drop without at least trying to throw out a net.

Perhaps we can raise enough to not only assist with his mother's future funeral costs but for Thomas to make it back to Togo for the funeral.
