Dear friends,
As many of you know, I came down with Covid-19 the last week of March. I nearly died, but, with your fervent prayers and God’s grace, I am doing well physically. Financially, however, my wife and I have less than fifty dollars in monetary assets and have been borrowing hundreds from our daughter who currently lives on unemployment benefits which have recently been curtailed as you know.
While I am working part time, my net pay has been zero dollars as my employer claws back months of unpaid employee benefit contributions. In addition, my short term disability payments have been suspended for more than a month as additional medical records are sought and assessed. Meanwhile, other bills mount, including thousands in medical bills.
My 1997 Buick needs $1,100 in repairs. Not many months ago I borrowed $500 to buy it;
the lender will eat some of that if I turn over the proceeds from junking it.
While I hope the cash flow will improve, my existing predicament puts us in a very tight spot. To get us through the current crunch and to put a down payment on a quality used car, I have established a Go Fund Me goal of $5,000.
Many hundreds of people prayed me through my illness. Every small prayer was a blessing. In the same way, every donation of any size at will be most gratefully appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and may God bless you.
