Many of you know Tom and know what he stands for. Tom has been a servant of God for as long as his children can remember. He has pastored many churches and held other positions, such as Minister of Youth and Young Adults. Tom is well beyond his retirement age, yet he still serves as Chaplain of the Chiefland Fire Department and interim pastor when needed. Tom's wife, Gail, still plays the piano for churches and has been a devoted pastor's wife, which is not an easy job that pays nothing. Both have been committed parents of four children, Grandparents of 18 and now Great Grandparents of 3.

Tom has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma, and during the exam, they also found two masses or blockages. One in his chest and the other in his neck. Tom currently is in the cardio ICU department at North Florida Hospital in Gainesville. Doctors hope this can all be treated due to Toms's excellent health and active lifestyle; however, the recovery may be lengthy. As you may or may not know, A pastor's wealth is more spiritual than monetarily. Only by the grace of God have they been able to provide for their family and those less fortunate and still managed to keep some to make ends meet after Toms's official retirement from full-time ministry. Tom and Gail have never asked for anything from anyone else and still won't, even though mounting hospital debt is accruing. Tom has spent hundreds if not thousands of hours helping and visiting those in the hospital over the life of his career, and now he has found himself there in a critical situation. So we........the children of Tom and Gail, our dad, are asking you, especially those who have known them over the years, to help them during this difficult time to help cover the massive medical bills mounting up.
