Thomas Jerg Family Assistance Fund

It is with great sadness that CUPE Local 2 announces the passing of one of our members, Thomas Jerg on September 12, 2024. A talented and gifted Cable Technician, Tom was hired into the Local 2 family 5 years ago from Bell Mobility. His knowledge of telephony was second to none, and he brought a level of understanding to the job that helped to elevate the entire section. Tom had a quiet humour about him that did not go unnoticed. While he did not speak often, those closest to him would often be surprised by a well timed joke, spoken by this mild mannered technician. Tom was a very private individual, rarely divulging much about his private life. However, one thing he did mention was his love for his daughter who survives him.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Thomas Jerg's family with the loss of their husband and father. We are asking for donations to help with funeral expenses, and to help the family financially in this uncertain time. So please consider donating, and sharing this link with any friends or family.
