Thomas Hudson Funeral & Family Expenses

No words can describe Walter Thomas Hudson life to the fullest he lived it. As a friend, employee, father, uncle, teammate brother and mentor he did it with his whole heart. What mattered to him was how he treated people, how he served Jesus and how much he could express himself. He lived his life with his heart wide open no matter what anyone thought.

He was born in Ohio where he was the youngest of five. He had his brother Steve and sisters Nita, Debbie and Patty. He also found a family in his friendships. Friends that lasted his whole life. His friendships went deep as he took other people’s worries as his own and was very loyal. They would play foosball and roller skate. He stayed there til he followed his brother Steve to Florida where they worked at a body shop that he was proud of. Then shortly met my Mother Tammy. They had a special connection, they traveled the world speaking on stage to spread inspiration for people for years. He was never afraid to share his story if it meant providing light to someone else’s life. They got married and had two daughters Taylor and I (Julieane). My dad experienced immense hardship in his lifetime & never failed to persevere choosing to move forward through the lens of God. By doing so he showed compassion and the compacity to be there for anyone in any journey of their life. He loved nurturing people and his plants & pets. He loved appreciating nature at the beach. His last week on Earth he spent it celebrating his oldest daughter with a party he put together himself. Also, a tournament with foosball (one of many passions he obtained) that he described as “the best weekend since the 70s” I know he left feeling loved and fulfilled.

Although my heart aches & I never felt so empty, the gravity of love he showed I know will continue to fill me up. He left the world a better place. He left every stranger feeling a little bit better. He left his family and friends with so much love and wisdom.

I know he’d want us to “keep on keepin’ on” and be filled with joy as that is his spirit.

If there is anything you feel led to do whether it be inputting a small amount or a prayer it would be much appreciated during this hard time. My heart goes out to anyone who has had or is going through a similar experience.
