Thomas Hopperstad Memorial Fund

On Friday July 29, 2022 Tommy was leaving work on a normal Friday afternoon. Moments into his commute home, he was involved in a fatal accident on his motorcycle on Washington avenue in front for Grand Apizza in North Haven. Needless to say, we are all in complete shock and disbelief.

Tommy was a loving and devoted father whose life revolved around his Son Zachary. Every single thing he did was with him in mind. Tommy was just about to start coaching Zachary’s football team this year. He looked forward to Father’s Day every year commemorated by a trip to on Block Island with Zachary. The day Zachary was born was the happiest day of his life.

Tommy worked at Banton construction. He worked passionately and tirelessly as an electrician for the past 20 years. He loved his profession and gave 110% every day.

Tommy was a loving brother and son. Family meant everything to him and his favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, often spent in Vermont with his family.

Tommy touched so many lives with his great personality and vibrant outlook on life. Anyone he encountered quickly became a friend. We will all miss him so much, especially Zachary.

All proceeds will go to funeral costs and to help provide a brighter future to Zachary.

Thank you all so much for all the kind words and support. You all have touched Tommy and our family more than you will ever know.

Love
The Hopperstads
