Tom Herzogs fight against cancer
MGC members,
Our longtime Assistant superintendent Tom Herzog, was recently diagnosed with non hodkins lymphoma. Tom is probably most popular for his role as the "dog shepard" as some have referred to him as:) When you see him out on the golf course he more than likely has gear, the goose dog riding along to keep an eye out for any geese looking to make a landing on our property. Tom has been our Assistant superintendent for the last 30 years and has played a key role in the grounds operation here at MGC.
Tom was getting some testing done for another issue he was up against when this condition was discovered. Thankfully, because they caught it prior to symptoms even developing, it will be treatable and Dr's are optimistic he'll be able to beat this. Having been a member of the MGC community for the past 30 years, It's my hope that we're able to generate some financial help during these challenging times for Tom as the medical bills begin to roll in.
For those of you who are able to help, thank you so much in advance for your contribution!
