On November 26, Thomas Grimes was the victim of a brutal attack during a home robbery and nearly lost his life. Due to the emergency care and extended stay in the hospital, we are asking for whatever you can spare. The money will be primarily used to alleviate his medical expenses but will also be used to buy Christmas gifts for his daughter. 

Thomas (also known as Tito) is a genuinely kind soul. Having known him most of my life, my world shook when I heard the news. I grew up with him, and several other of my older brother's best friends, at my dinner table. I got to make fun of him like an annoying little sister every time he did something stupid and got hurt.. like the time he tried to snowboard down my front yard using a plastic sled and broke his leg. At any rate, he is the kind of person to help out a friend in need, regardless of his personal situation. And it is our turn to give back. So, please, even if it's only a dollar, please help my friend. I couldn't think of anyone more deserving.
