On Tuesday evening (January 15th) Mike Thomas was traveling eastbound in the rain on highway 50 near Camino Heights (just east of Placerville, California) when the unthinkable happened--a Volvo carrying two adults, and one child heading west lost control, spinning-out, crossing over the un-barriered center divide at 65 mph. Without warning, the Volvo landed directly in the path of Mike’s Subaru at a sustained 100 mph. impact.  Mike had zero time to react.  Mike was the lone survivor of this accident 

Mike was then airlifted in critical condition to Sutter Roseville Trauma Center with major injuries. 

Mike is a seasoned, respected Class A truck driver who is also a loving father and husband who will need on-going physical rehabilitation, and counseling.
