On Monday, August 29, 2022, my grandmother Annie Thomas and three young cousins lost their home to a devastating fire. Thankfully, with the help of courageous neighbors, everyone got out safely, and no lives were lost. While the structure of my childhood family home is still standing, everything within the walls has been lost. My grandmother has been a beacon to her family and community for over 40 years. She has opened up her home to so many in need throughout the years. Unfortunately, she is now the one in need of help. As you can imagine, such a devastating loss requires quite a bit to rebuild. Please consider donating what you can to help replace what was lost. There will be some tough times ahead, but with God's grace and mercy, we will get through this.
