Thomas Ellis was severely injured while acting as a Good Samaritan, helping a young lady in her most desperate hour of need. On a dark night, and without his cell phone, Thomas rushed in to help someone in need and suffered because of his brave choice. His selfless actions remind us of the importance of compassion and bravery in our everyday lives.
Thomas endured surgery to repair a shattered wrist with plates and screw, a surgery to repair three cracked vertebrae with screws and rods, and he has cracked ribs and a small brain bleed. His left eye is also swollen shut and there are concerns about vision in that eye. He faces extensive medical bills, vehicle repairs, and the ongoing costs of physical rehabilitation. The financial burden is overwhelming, and your support can make a real difference in his recovery. Every contribution will help offset these expenses and give Thomas the resources he needs to heal and rebuild. Thomas’s journey will be long, and he will need encouragement and assistance from friends, family, and the community to regain his strength and independence.
In today's world, we each pass by so many people who could desperately use our help. Thomas did not. Please consider supporting Thomas as he recovers from his injuries.
"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." -Hebrews 13:2
