Thomas E. Maxwell Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
On May 28th, 2022, our lives changed forever. My husband and partner of 37 years went for an afternoon of fishing and never came home. He suddenly collapsed on his way back to the car and couldn't be revived despite our best efforts. We are still waiting on the final autopsy report, but we think he may have suffered from an aortic aneurism. Tom just turned 56 exactly one month prior.
I want to thank all of those that stopped to help until the ambulance could arrive. One man was a doctor, and another kindhearted woman drove me and my car to the hospital because they wouldn't allow me to ride in the ambulance with him. I wish I knew their names to thank them personally. Even though we weren't able to save him, the statement "not all angels have wings" was proven to be true on that day.
Tom was our "man of the woods." He loved to hunt, fish, and search for Morel mushrooms when the season was just right. He was a handyman who could fix or make anything. I wish there were a way to fix our broken hearts.
So many people have asked what we need and how they can help. Tom was a general contractor that worked for himself; he did not have life insurance. Any donations towards funeral expenses would be appreciated more than you'll ever know. Any amount helps. We would also like to encourage you to share this page with friends and family. And if you pray, please say a prayer for Tom's family as we navigate this difficult road ahead.
Thank you for all your love and support.
