After four years of procedures, exams, operations and chemo, the fight is still going.
The Kaposi has caused a lot of problems over time. Currently it’s spread to cause extreme oral pain and still building bloody fluid around my lungs. To remedy that I’m waiting on a lymph angiogram to find out where the leak may be.
I try to stay comfortable with the help of my prescriptions through palliative care, very fortunate to have them looking after my pain.
I thought we were over the hill with it all but I’ve had to restart Chemotherapy again with a new trial medication from NIH in Maryland.
