Thomas and Jeanne Bowen Memorial Fund

On July 17th, my mother, Jeanne Bowen passed away after a long 7 year battle with cancer. To her family and friends it was very sudden since it was thought she was in remission. She wasn't just my mother, she was my best friend and I miss talking with her everyday. She loved doing things for her community and was always doing some sort of art project. She left two dogs, a cat, her husband and her daughter.

Almost exactly 6 months later, on January 18th, Thomas Bowen, my father and Jeanne's husband, passed away. I think due to grief and heartbreak. He was very personable with everyone he met, he could make friends with anyone. He had a passion for grilling and messing around with cars. I have a lot of happy childhood memories with him.

Any money received will be used towards finalizing their estate and supporting their daughter. It will really help out with expenses. I just graduated college in December and was not prepared to lose both parents in such a short span of time. Especially when I thought I would still have years and lots of memories left with both of them.
