Thom Mayer Medical Expenses

On April 2nd, Thom Mayer was involved in a solo dirt bike accident. Landing directly on his head he fractured his T6, 7, and 8 vertebra. His T7 was fractured all the way through. It is without a shadow of a doubt that it is a 100% miracle he was not paralyzed. Thankfully there were a number of people close by including a Park Ranger who was also an EMT.

Thom will undergo surgery this Thursday, April 8th; a procedure to stabilize his spine. He has and will be recovering at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. He initially was checked into the ER in Moab but later transferred to Grand Junction, an hour and half away. His wife Felicia has been staying Grand Junction as well.

So many of us have been fortunate to have Thom in your life, whether growing up with him in Paradise, Ca or later in on in one of his many ventures. As you all know Thom and his family are some of the most caring and giving people. We now have the opportunity to help the Mayer family through this little hurdle in their lives. This GoFundMe was set up exclusively to help offset their medical expenses during and post hospital time, as well as living expenses. Both Thom and Felicia won't be able to work for a number a weeks while Thom is recovering. As they are working all the insurance logistics out, we want to make sure the stress of medical bills and living costs is a minor.
