We lost our father to a month long battle with COVID pneumonia on May 22nd, 2021. We had just lost our older sister to her monthlong battle with COVID when we received the call.
Our hopes are to raise money to cover medical and funeral expenses.
He leaves behind two daughters, Amanda Marshall and Elissa Ha; and a 14 year old granddaughter, Sophia (who’s mother is referenced above).
While our family tries to heal and grieve, we are met with the reality of medical bills, funeral expenses, and home expenses. We appreciate the support of the community.
Tho was a employee of the US Postal service for over 35 years. He was a loving man who cared for his community. He found joy in helping others without asking for anything in return. Working for USPS, he would encounter bills that did not have enough postage - so he often paid for the missing stampsout of his own pocket. He would say to us, “Those people are trying to do their best to pay their bills. If I send this back they will be late. For what? A few quarters?”
We thank the community for the support while we try our best to honor our dad.
Sincerely,
Amanda & Elissa
