Howdy y'all , my name is Josh David Jordan and this has been an adventure. Because of all y'alls help we have written, filmed, edited and made our full length feature film " This World Won't Break". We have won 14 awards so far, includingBest Feature Narrative at the Dallas International Film Festival and the film has been around the world. We are now gearing up to put this film into the world on VOD and Blue Ray. It all adds up and we want to get this film to you as soon as possible, so every little bit helps.
It is a feature film shot in the heart of Texas.IT'S ABOUT A TEXAS SINGER/SONGWRITER whose quiet life is upset by the realization that he isn't where he had hoped to be at this point in his career. He questions the decisions of putting off a family life in hopes to one day "make it", isolating himself on the open road by playing small honkey-tonks. It's too late to stop following the dream and too early in his career to be a legend. This film is an engaging look inside the life of a struggling artist. Not just any artist but the art and life of Greg Schroeder.
It will have the depth of an intimate character study, and amidst tragedy, subtle moments of humor and hope will shine through. Like plucking a character from a Mark Twain novel, adding the banjo and letting loose chaos.
This is a deeply personal exploration of drive and persistence. You can sit back and for a moment crawl inside the life and time of Greg Schroeder and realize that no one was promised a happy ending in this world. But we are all equipped with the heart to follow our dreams.
This has been a lot of sweat, tears and love and we can't wait to show it to you.
