we are saddened to announce that the battle no matter the efforts she put in, has been lost.
There are no words to explain this loss to our family and those closest to Erica, please help up give her husband and children the help they deeply deserve
Hi, my name is Nikki Pomeroy — Erica’s cousin, though in truth, we’ve grown up more like sisters.
It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve created this GoFundMe to support Erica and Brad Copping, as they face one of the most challenging times of their lives.
Erica’s Diagnosis
Erica has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, an aggressive form of cancer that affects the lymphatic system — the network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins and fight off infection.
There are many strains and subtypes of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, each with its own challenges. Erica’s condition is advanced and requires urgent, intensive treatment. Her plan includes chemotherapy, targeted injections, and other medications, administered in 21-day cycles. These treatments are physically demanding and come with difficult side effects — fatigue, pain, and the emotional toll of battling a life-altering illness.
But if you know Erica, you know she’s a fighter. Her strength, determination, and love for her family are unwavering.
Family & Financial Strain
Erica and Brad are the proud parents of two beautiful little girls who are their entire world. Understandably, their focus right now has shifted entirely to Erica’s health and family’s well-being.
While both Erica and Brad have always been hardworking and independent, they’ve had to step away from work during this time — not by choice. Brad is by Erica’s side every step of the way, and together, they are doing everything they can to manage the demands of treatment and family life.
Unfortunately, as many know, cancer doesn’t just affect the body — it impacts every part of life, including finances. The mounting costs of medical care, transportation to and from treatment, and everyday living expenses have become an overwhelming burden.
How You Can Help
We’re reaching out to our community — to friends, loved ones, and kind-hearted strangers — for help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
- Medical and treatment-related expenses
- Transportation and hospital visits
- Household bills and living costs while they’re unable to work
- Providing stability for their daughters during this time
If you prefer to give through direct bank transfer, we’re happy to provide that option as well. Just reach out.
Above all, we ask for your prayers, your positive thoughts, and your support in sharing this page to help us reach more people.
From our entire family — thank you for standing with Erica, Brad, and their girls. We are so grateful for every act of generosity, kindness, and love.
With heartfelt thanks,
