Hi, my name’s Jonny, and I’m fundraising to support a horse my mum recently rescued from a heartbreaking situation.

She came across this poor horse left alone in a field, tied to a short rope with barely any food, no shelter, and no companionship. He had clearly been neglected and left to fend for himself. Even though my mum knew nothing about horses, she couldn’t walk away. She saw a soul that needed saving.

Determined to help, she approached the owner multiple times to buy him. After a lot of back and forth, he finally agreed to let her take him — and that’s when his second chance at life began.

Since then, he’s had a trim, been castrated, received all necessary vet checks, and is now safe and cared for at a livery yard with other horses to socialize with. He’s slowly learning to trust again and will hopefully be broken in soon, ready for a forever home full of love and kindness.

We’re fundraising to cover the ongoing care costs — food, shelter, training, and vet bills — while he continues his journey toward a better life.
