Hello my friends,

Every year for Ramadan, we do our best to help the poorest families in Kabul. Many of them have 8, 10 people, or even more, all living together, struggling just to eat. But this year, things are worse. With everything happening in Afghanistan, so many people have lost jobs, prices for food are too high, and hunger is a real crisis. Families are going days without enough to eat.

We started this GoFundMe to raise money so we can buy food for them—rice, flour, oil, lentils—all the basics they need. Every dollar goes straight to the families. No middleman, no extra costs, just food for the people who need it most. Who are we:

We built a nonprofit organization based out of California that has been doing humanitarian work in Afghanistan for over a decade and now we do everything we can to support struggling families. We sit on the US-Afghan Women's Council. https://usawc.georgetown.edu/

We are raising funds for people in and around the Kabul area where we work with known liaisons close to the community and whom we've worked with before and trust to deliver the aid we will send (directly to the communities- see pictures). We are hoping to feed about 100 families for the entire month.
