This Lady is Turning 40

Hi everyone!

I’m turning 40! Like a fine wine or stinky cheese I have only gotten better with age! I didn’t get to have a 30th because hurricane Sandy had other plans for me. Shout out to Christine for walking from 72nd st over the bridge to dumbo to be there! So I’m going big... and by myself. I’m going to Costa Rica for a yoga retreat October 23rd-29th.

It’s my 40th soooo I know there’s lots of gag gifts people would want to get me, but they’ll only last for that day. A massage lasts 60 min. Dinner lasts a night. Flowers last a week. A card I’ll prob have for a month or so. A shirt I’ll prob have until I get supermodel skinny- so like 6 months. The memories of this trip will last a lifetime. So I’m asking you to donate the money you would have spent on me to this fund so I can use it on my trip. In the comment section you write what you would have given me. Like $5 “birthday card”, $25 “shirt”, $50 “scratch off tickets”, $100 “massage”, $150 “your last nights stay at a hotel b/c the yoga retreat ends on the day of the 28th but you leave on the 29th”, $200 “a day trip to the volcano” $500 “flight”, $1,100 “yoga retreat” you get the picture.
