For my birthday this year, I’m honoring the most important soul in my life — my dog, Nola. She isn’t just my pet; she is my constant, my comfort, my joy, and my family. She has carried me through hard days, celebrated the good ones, and loves me with a purity I didn’t know was possible. I would do anything for her.
I was lucky enough to find Nola through Compassion Without Borders, an organization that saves dogs and cats who might never otherwise get a chance. Because of them, I get to experience unconditional love every single day.
