Help Us Keep the Momentum Going: Support Our Advocacy + Season 2 Equipment
Hi, my name is Nikki. I’m the daughter of a murdered woman.
For the past four years, I have been fighting to bring attention to my mother’s case and advocating for other families living through the quiet, lifelong grief that domestic violence leaves behind. This podcast — Papi Killed Mommy — became the voice my mother never got to use for herself. And because of you, that voice has reached thousands.
But this story isn’t over.
And Season 2 is where we get louder.
As we move into the next stage, I need to upgrade our equipment and build out more sustainable resources to keep producing this show — not just for my mom, but for every family still waiting for justice.
Here is what we need help with:
A dual-channel audio interface so my co-host and I can record quality interviews together
Professional-grade microphones + headphones
Sound treatment + cables and tech accessories
Future advocacy merch (stickers, pamphlets, and awareness pieces) so people can carry these stories with them
Printing + booth materials for future CrimeCon and survivor-focused events
(Yes — we’re going back.)
Every dollar goes directly toward continuing the work:
Telling stories that would otherwise die inside closed police cabinets
Amplifying voices that have been pushed aside
Bringing domestic violence homicide into the light where it belongs
And keeping pressure on a system that hopes we will give up
I don’t take asking for help lightly.
I work full-time, I record at night, and I have built this entire project by hand — literally — in a closet my father and I converted into a recording studio together.
But I can’t grow this alone.
If you are able to donate, thank you.
If you can’t donate but can share, thank you.
If you are simply here and listening — thank you.
Your support has already changed more than you know.
Together, we will keep going.
Until there is no more story to tell.
Until justice is no longer something we have to chase.
With gratitude,
Nikki
