This is Family & No One Fights Alone!

Illness does not care about one’s age, how good a person you are or what you may have planned for the future. Every one of us has a story whether for a loved one or ourselves. Well I come to you now asking for support of my family w/ my little brother, Matthew.

When Matt was only 21yrs old, he suffered a heart attack due to an underlying genetic heart condition that left him w/ (5) stents. Fast forward to 2020, a year that has graced us all w/some sort of hell, now having Matthew in it’s sights. Several wks ago, Matt sustained another heart attack that was stabilized but in testing showed major trouble present. Not only was one of the stents put in a decade ago closed but it was found that he has (5) main arteries blocked. Doctor’s said that no matter what precautionary measures could have been made by diet & exercise, this was unavoidable as this form of heart disease is unfortunately genetic. The only way to fix the problems & numerous blockages, will be to take it head on with OpenHeart/BYPASS (CABG) surgery. What is a shitty scenario for anyone is magnified for my family by this...
My now 32 yr old little brother is not only a newlywed to his wife, Annie, but still a new daddy to their beautiful baby girl, Charlotte Grace. In the midst of his diagnosis, they had just celebrated Charlotte’s 1st birthday & moved into their 1st new home. A time where there should be an abundance of joy for this young family starting out, has been overwhelmed by fear, anxiety attacks, tears & stress. Matthew’s doctors believe this BYPASS surgery will keep his heart going strong for many years to come & anticipate a good recovery given all goes well. We are hopeful that he will remain strong both physically & mentally through this all but there are still more pressing issues weighing down. Matt’s road to recovery will prevent him from being able to work & provide for his family for a minimum of (8) wks. Anyone w/children, a home, bills, etc. know this cloud of stress all too well- without throwing health problems & medical expenses into the mix.

I ask of you all, to please come together & help our family raise funds that will ease the financial burdens Matt & Annie are going to be facing in the months ahead! I’m aware this looming pandemic has hurt many folks as well but I beg that if you can please donate, as No gesture is too small! Gift cards to Target, ALDI’s or CVS would also be kindly accepted too! PM me for their address where to send.

Though tough times can be alleviated by raising $$, I ask even greater so that you raise your hands together to pray for Matthew as he goes into surgery on Tues.10/6/2020. Pray for him, Annie, Charlotte & the surgeons who will be taking his life into their hands! (Also please send some additional prayers for Annie’s sweet  3 yr old nephew & her amazing mother who are also in their own health fights). Pray his heart recovers stronger than ever before so Matthew can have only wonderful years ahead with his wife & daughter. Those who know Matt, know he has to recover quick too so he can getback to casting a line in the nearest spot of water! Hahaaa
Keep the support strong by SHARING this POST, offering encouragement & reaching out to them to help in any way possible! Know that they truly appreciate any amount$ of support we can gather for them  (after GoFundMe takes it’s fees) & that blessings come in many ways! We Love You So Much Matt!!! Keep your head up brother!!  ❤️IN OUR FAMILY, NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!! ❤️
