On October 27th, 2021 The Williams’ lives changed forever. Eric had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital via ambulance after a 911 call from his wife, Stephanie. During a very scary week in the ICU, followed by another week in the hospital, Eric was diagnosed with a brain tumor in his right frontal lobe. To be more specific, it is a Glioma. To be even more specific, it is an Oligodendroglioma; Stage 2. Eric will require life-long management for this diagnosis and first up is a tumor resection at Mayo clinic. Unfortunately, the tumor is embedded in healthy brain tissue and not all of it will be able to be removed. We are currently hopeful that they will be able to get 80-90%. Following this major surgery, Eric will be turned over to the oncology department for radiation and/or chemotherapy. The road is long, but we know that Eric and his family are going to fight this with everything they have and come out of it stronger than ever.
Medical bills will continue to mount during Eric's recovery. This is where you come in. We have such an amazing and supportive network of friends and family. Everyone has been so wonderful since this terrible tumor came into our lives.
