Help Save Our Inclusive, Healing-Focused Gym
Hi, my name is David Memont, and I’m the proud owner of a small, independent gym that’s more than just a place to train—it’s a space for healing, empowerment, and community.
I’ve been a strength and conditioning coach for over 22 years. I work with people others often overlook: cancer survivors, stroke patients, individuals living with rare diseases, and those recovering from life-altering injuries or surgeries. My mission has always been to provide a safe, welcoming space for all bodies—regardless of size, gender, health condition, or background.
As a Marine Corps veteran and a nationally ranked strongwoman, I’ve lived many lives. In the last year, I’ve taken the courageous step of going public with my transition as a trans woman, Daviana. That journey has brought both beauty and difficulty, but it has only strengthened my commitment to create a gym where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.
Unfortunately, the past year has also brought financial hardship. I’m currently four months behind on rent, and despite my dedication and hustle, the gym is at real risk of closing. I’m asking for help—not just to catch up, but to raise enough to keep the doors open for at least another year. This will give us the breathing room we need to rebuild our clientele and continue doing the meaningful work that changes lives.
This isn’t just about saving a gym. It’s about protecting a rare and vital resource for the community—a place where people of all kinds find belonging, strength, and healing. We’re a family here. We don’t turn people away because they’re different or because they’ve been told they’re too broken to recover. Everyone deserves the chance to move, grow, and thrive.
If you believe in inclusivity…
If you believe in second chances…
If you believe that strength belongs to everyone…
Please consider donating. Every dollar helps keep our doors open, our community strong, and our mission alive.
With heartfelt gratitude and unwavering strength,
Daviana Memont
