Donation protected
Rama Chandraiah is a 65 year old farmer from a small village in India and was in perfect health until March 1st 2023 when he started having tingling, numbness and some weakness in the legs while working in the farm. He managed to come home with difficulty. In a matter of 3 to 4 days he became paralyzed including the weakness of swallowing and breathing muscles. He was diagnosed to have Guillain-barre syndrome and is currently receiving treatment at SiA Life Hospital in Hyderabad. He had a tracheostomy; he was on a ventilator for few days and now on the ventilator intermittently and needed a feeding tube to support nutrition. Family already faced with bills beyond what they can afford, and the physicians expect it to be a long recovery if he recovers and will also need long-term rehabilitation. Rama Chandraiah’s family (wife and son) are requesting financial assistance for his medical care.
Our family has known Rama Chandraiah since he was a child. He did not have the opportunity to get education and worked hard in the farms since his childhood. Family of Ramachandraiah will appreciate any financial support they can receive. Funds will be used to pay medical bills and for rehabilitation.
