This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write. My sweet girl Aurora, my best friend, my shadow, the thing I love most in this world, has just been diagnosed with lymphoma. She's only 8 years old. She's still wagging her tail, still eating, still acting like the brave girl she's always been. But I know she needs help, and fast.
Right now, she needs blood work and X-rays to stage the cancer, which cost $700 up front. After that, she has to see an oncologist for more testing and treatment options. Depending on what they find, she may need chemotherapy or other care to give her the best chance or the most comfort possible.
I don't have the funds to cover all of this on my own. I wish I did. But I'm asking please, if you're able to donate anything, no matter how small, it could make a real difference. It all adds up. And it all helps keep her here, comfortable and fighting.
Aurora has been with me through everything. Every dark day and hard night. She's more than a pet. She's my heart in a dog's body. I'm not ready to let her go, and I know she's not ready either.
If you can donate or even just share this post, I would be so grateful.
Every little bit helps and would be so appreciated. Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring about her.
